A great day trip, approx 35 - 40 min drive from Dunsborough. Take the Caves Road route to visit some of the many wineries in the Margaret River Wine Region. Stroll through town and visit the White Elephant Cafe at Gnarabup (about 8 mins out of the townsite) for breakfast / lunch / snacks with unobstructed ocean views and take a dip at the beach.

Busselton is a 20 minute drive from Dunsborough and is famous for it's jetty, the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere. It also boasts an underwater observatory and is well worth a visit. The foreshore has been redeveloped in recent years and is home to the popular Shelter Microbrewery, which offers a great place to stop for a drink or lunch with fabulous ocean views.
