The collections of the Sinebrychoff Art Museum include some of the most valuable and internationally important paintings by old European masters to be found in Finland. The collections have mainly been made up of donations. The unique house museum of Paul and Fanny Sinebrychoff, a permanent exhibition on the 2nd floor makes up the core of the museum. The art collection of the Sinebrychoffs, including furniture and other artefacts was left to the Finnish government as a bequest in 1921.

Korjaamo Culture Factory is one of the largest independent arts centres in the Nordic countries. Korjaamo was founded in an old tram depot in Töölö in 2004, and now hosts three concert/theatre venues as well as six smaller creative spaces for meetings and seminars. The Vaunuhalli building is also home to Helsinki City Museum’s Tram Museum. You can also find two Escape Rooms at Korjaamo. The latest renovation creating a large lounge and cafe area as well as the creative work spaces and a larger gallery space was completed in 2012. The project entitled Third Space, reflecting its role as a space between work and leisure, was designed by Berlin architect Florian Koehl and was part of the World Design Capital programme in Helsinki. Korjaamo produces arts events across various fields including music, theatre and fine arts. Every August, Korjaamo hosts Stage Theatre Festival, which showcases a selection of Finnish and international performances. Korjaamo’s own gallery, Korjaamo Galleria, produces approximately 20 exhibitions a year. Restaurant(s) and bar as wel as private and corporate events are also important parts of Korjaamo's operations.

Seurasaari is a museum island, which consists of old, mainly wooden buildings transplanted from elsewhere in Finland and placed in the dense forest landscape of the island. The Open-Air Museum was founded in 1909. All the different provinces of Finland are represented in the well preserved old buildings and they give an overall view of Finnish countryside life from the 18th to the 20th century. At present, there are 87 separate buildings at Seurasaari Museum. Seurasaari has also a variety of wildlife, especially birds, but also red squirrels and hares. It’s very popular place for citizens who want enjoy the peaceful outdoor atmosphere.
