Delicious italian food. All the classics with some different twists and they usually have some interesting specials. It is small and popular so definitely make a reservation. It is just around the corner, maybe a 4 minute walk from the apartment.

The best italian food in Saratoga and literally in our backyard. You will absolutely need a reservation here because this place is always full. You usually need to call at least a week in advance, but sometimes we get lucky and can get in by calling just a few days ahead. It is a cozy and casual atmosphere and the service is on point. It is run by a local couple. They have a varying menu on the chalkboard and also a staple menu. It is definitely more towards fine dining prices. You won’t be disappointed!

You usually need to call at least a week in advance, but sometimes we get lucky and can get in by calling just a few days ahead. It is a cozy and casual atmosphere and the service is on point. It is run by a local couple. They have a varying menu on the chalkboard and also a staple menu. It is definitely more towards fine dining prices. You won’t be disappointed!

They don’t take reservations on Fridays and Saturdays and it gets packed, but you can grab a seat at the bar while you wait.

We have only eaten here a few times since it reopened following a fire, but the food has been good.
A classy place to get a mouthwatering steak. You pay a pretty penny, but we have never regretted it. It is definitely more upscale than the other restaurants on this list. Highly recommend making a reservation here. You can make them online.

Dairy Haus is a few minutes drive away, but it is definitely worth it for a homemade ice cream. Soft serve and hard ice cream, amazing milk shakes and other creations. If you like ice cream (and we LOVE ice cream) this is your place.

Delicious tacos and made-to-order donuts. Everything is really fresh and has great flavor. You can order online and unless they are swamped you can usually pick it up within 10 minutes. It is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment, if that! We get takeout here often.

They have a shuffleboard table which is fun and they always have a fire going in the winter which makes it warm and cozy. Food is good and a little more expensive than some other comparable places. Go for the beer!

A fun dive that has all the bar games (pool, darts, foosball, pinball). It is definitely a little grungy, but we enjoy coming for the low key atmosphere and a fun evening of games. Cash only.

Beautiful park a couple blocks away. There are ponds, benches, picnic tables, carousel, and lots of ducks. Canfield Casino is also there, which is home to the Saratoga Historical museum which is interesting to check out.
