They have a lively bar (with cocktails) and a great restaurant with open fires and a busy atmosphere. They also offer afternoon cream teas and have a spa, which a recent guest had a great experience with some treatments.

They have their own brewery, so great ales at the bar. They offer bar food and have a formal restaurant, the food never disappoints in either, although you will probably need to book as it gets busy, it's one of our favourites.

A small and intimate country pub with garden and open fires. Close to local walks around peaceful lakes. They do good food, but it does get busy, so you may need to book.

Parks & Nature
Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities (bike hire centre nearby), wind surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding etc. There is also a man made beach for a spot of sunbathing! Also various cafe's and restaurants.

Huge park and lovely in all weathers, with amazing colours in Autumn. Various food choices (although a little pricey!) there from BBQ to cakes and tea. Its about 20 minutes drive.
