Walk along the beach, take the train, bus or drive to nearby fishing village of Aberdyfi (Aberdovey). One of the most attractive Welsh coastal villages, come here to eat, shop or get an award winning ice cream! Crabbing off the jetty is a family favourite here.

In the Dyfi forest and North of Machynlleth, Corris was once a slate mining village. King Arthur's Labyrinth underground tours, the narrow gauge railway, the Centre for Alternative technology plus the fabulous Idris Stores cafe at the heart of the village.

a typical seaside resort town with plenty to keep you entertained around the town. Large beach and on the edge of the picturesque Mawddach estuary. Get here by train accross the Bridge or drive across the narrow Paenmaenpool bridge - 50p toll!

A university seaside town with a pier, harbour, promenade and castle ruins. With lots of independent shops and eateries, and a daily showcase of the starling murmurations during the winter months, its worth a visit!
