Steps is a protected area and when the waves are flat the snorkeling is on point. It is easy to snorkel from the shore and there are snorkel rentals and lunch on site(the food stand is VERY slow but so good). I enjoy this spot early morning for less crowds.

Sandy beach is great to swim when there is no swell. You can also watch for whales from sandy beach during whale season and surf during surf season.

Nice surf spot one minute walk from the villas. If you walk right down the beach you will get to a great tide pool. If you walk left are at Sandy beach.
