The Waterfront of Thessaloniki Ideal place for walking, running or biking and one of the locals favor,is about five kilometers in length, from the Concert Hall to the port. The sea of the Thermaikos Gulf and the sky create a beautiful scene and you will see a lot of people reading, fishing, make picnics, open-air exercise in groups, dancing, performances, or just meet their friends… You will also find the White Tower one of Thessaloniki's most known monuments on your way.

Shopping

Kapani, maybe the oldest open public market of Thessaloniki, is conventionally located in the heart of the traditional city, between Aristotelous Square, the port, and the Ladadika neighborhood of restaurants and live music venues. At Kapani market you will find fresh produce, spices, olives, fish, and meat, some traditional coffee shops, bakeries, sweets and loukoumi shops, tavernas, meze (small plates) and ouzeri restaurants, clothes and more. Much of the market is on pedestrian streets.

Drinks & Nightlife

An example of a successful city area transformation The area of Balaoritou is the new hot place to be in Thessaloniki! The numerous bars, coffees and restaurants transformed the old commercial and until recently neglected area, to a lively and popular night life center .
