For the best malasadas on the island, head up north to Tex Drive In. They serve plenty of Hawaiian food as well but the sweet malasadas are the excellent.

One of the most beautiful beaches is Kua Bay. The waves can get a little rough but the beauty of this beach is hard to compare. It is part of the Kekaha Kai State Park and is the second entrance if you are heading north on Highway 19.
