If you're looking for a bit more excitement, the town of Bracebridge has a bit more hustle & bustle (for a small town) than the surrounding small towns. A bigger selection of restaurants, shopping, grocery, pubs/bars. Make sure to check out the waterfall and take a little stroll around town.

Food Scene
We loved the atmosphere and THE FOOD! Not only delicious, but huge portions. It's certainly a gem. Currently my favourite local restaurant. It's nice to leave with a fully tummy for a change!

Wonderful hike along the lake's edge. We always see a variety of animals, mosses, lichens, plants. Different hiking trails for different levels of experience. A great hike that's not far from us!

One of the of the biggest & most beautiful falls around! You can view from above or go right down in the misty breeze for some wonderful photos. Also has hiking trails through the woods in addition to some more small falls. A must see!

A short hike through the woods & along the river leads you to this amazing waterfall. Bring your bathing suit to enjoy the whirlpool at the base. Be sure to go when the sun is high, as it runs through the woods. Our favourite place to soak and relax.

What can we say, we just love waterfalls!!! (who doesn't?) Upper & Lower Rosseau Falls is located in Rosseau. The drive itself is beautiful, let alone the destination.

Our local animal rescue! We take all our family & friends here. An informative tour that includes an up close look at all of our native animals. Only resident animals are included in the tour. You must pre-book and pay a donation fee. Animals include bears, coyotes, wolves, foxes, moose, etc. Don't forget to howl for the wolves!! (seriously)
