Lovely gardens, beautiful house, national trust cafe and kids love the freedom to run in the grounds (there is also a discretely tucked away wooden play area). Great lunch and always seasonal interest

Of course I have to recommend - we live in the heart of this stunning landscape, tranquility, lush green views and laid back way of being will leave you rested and refreshed.

Tow shops and a post office, a pub and a school, you wouldnt think much would go on, but you are so wrong! Regular chip van Your Plaice or Mine and Exe valley Woodfired Pizza van once a week too
