Twin Anchors is extremely well know and has been around forever (since 1932)! They are famous for their ribs and a Frank Sinatra visit. The restaurant even appeared in Dark Knight.

The sushi is really tasty and fairly affordable for the area. Try the volcano roll, it's amazing!

Alinea is one of the world's best restaurants according to many sources. I've never been seeing as you have to purchase the tickets well in advance and they run $200+ per person w/o wine.

They have the best brunch in Chicago! Simply amazing. Try the red velvet french toast or the grilled cheese and tomato bisque.

The interior of this bar is gorgeous and the ceilings are 20ft tall at least. It's always busy here with a more upscale 25+ crowd and they have a huge draft beer selection. Their food is very tasty.

You can't go wrong with seeing a show at Second City. Many famous comedians and actors have preformed on these stages and it's always a good time.

This park offers a great outdoor experience. They have fields for sports and basketballs courts. There is a nice walking path that surrounds the park as well.

Whether you're a history buff or just like to peer into Chicago's past, this place will be a great time for you. They have an old L train from the early 1900's that you can get aboard and much more.

The zoo is free for everyone and it's a lot of fun! Be warned though, parking is $20 no matter how long you stay so I would recommend taking the bus or walking to the zoo (20ish mins).
