When booking, book early to get a rental… while we’re a small island things are pretty spread out and it’s a little easier to get around if you have your own transportation. We do have taxi and private car services… book early! And most importantly, have fun!!!! Ohh and although you may have GPS it doesn’t work in all areas so get familiar with your surroundings.

It is a local custom that when you enter a room you give the greeting of the day! While it is not often done locals view it as a sign of disrespect or being rude. Another thing that gets them is when you respond to a question “what”! That’s a no,no. If you didn’t hear them or need clarification you ask “ can you repeat that, excuse me, etc.).

Here in paradise we have bugs… like everywhere else however, we have a common pest called Mosquitos!!! I know you know, but me let you know a little secret… they love fresh meat! So be sure to pack the insect repellent. Also we all love the fact that the weather almost never changes always sunny, well too much sun is not good for you. Please be sure to use sunscreen, sunblock, wear a hat, visor etc. Have fun and stay safe.

When leaving be at the airport 3hr… before your departure time. I know that’s a long time but our airport is not built to accommodate the load capacity that we have been receiving lately. Remember “No liquids ( rum, wine, soda, Victoria secrets body-spray,hot sauce, lotions, juice etc.) No gels ( jelly, hair gel, etc.) No aerosol (spray on suntan oils, shaving creams, etc.) No pastes ( peanut butter, guacamole, hummus, soft cheeses etc.) Place these items in your Checked baggage if they are over 3.5 oz.
