beach with rock pool areas and views over The Mewstone. Can be reached by taking little ferry from Newton Ferrers harbour in season and walking along stretch of cliff path to Wembury beach. Small cafe - delicious home made cake!

A lovely stretch of beach. Able to walk across to Burgh Island at low tide. A lot of activity on this beach with kite surfers etc. Cafe set back overlooking the beach.

National trust car park at South Milton sands and a good place for birdwatching. Beach house cafe with outdoor tables overlooking the view.

There is plenty to see and visit in Plymouth - The Hoe, the historic barbican area, National Marine Aquarium. The Mayflower Steps where the Pilgrim fathers set sail for the New World in 1620, Plymouth Gin Factory to name but a few. The Theatre Royal Plymouth offers a range of productions often before they move onto the London stage.
