Castle inside is a bit tired but the grounds are great for walking and it has a great pets corner snd play area for small children. Make sure you are back in the car park for 5 as they close inner gates in the estate, we got locked out and had to yomp across a field to break back in and retrieve the car!

Love this place, the food, service and wine list are all excellent at this family run restaurant. A must visit for the delicious mushroom soup alone.

Menu is quite eclectic, Greek, pizza, burgers but food is very nice and staff super friendly. Huge portions but don’t worry they will give you a doggy bag 😃

A really great Thai restaurant only 5 mins from the apartment, eat in or take out. If you don’t mind a bit of spice the pad gra prow is delicious as is the satay.
