This is a great local urban winery that is just down the street. We live to go there and do a wine tasting then bring a bottle back to enjoy at home. The people are friendly and the wine is great!

This is an incredible hike along the coast. Beautiful ocean views from the cliffs and the final stretch back is along a sandy beach. Make sure you have cash for parking.

This is a beautiful large park. It has many museums, small local art studios, street performers, unique architecture, gardens, a giant organ, etc. It is nice to walk around here and see the sights.

The beach is located in the quirky beach town of Ocean Beach. There are many cute shops and restaurants nearby to explore. It is a more urban area with some grit so be aware that there are homeless people who hang out in the area in addition to artists, hippies, locals and vacationers. This beach has a pier that you can walk out on with nice views. It has a restaurant at the end. Many people like to fish off of the pier.

It is difficult to find parking at most beach spots. Show up early or plan extra time to find parking a bit further away from the beach and walk in.
