This is where i get my groceries. I recommend using a car to get here. It's doable as a daytime walk, but it's a little tough when you're bogged down with groceries and it's not the prettiest scenery.

Want to go to the hollywood sign? You can't get right on it, but you can hike to above and below it. Drive straight up Beachwood Canyon, park once you reach the trail (SEE STREET SIGNS!) and hike up.
