On sunny days, La Banchina is magnificent. Make sure to swing by for a coffee, a glas of wine or a plate of great food (note that portions are small, so consider it a snack or order two dishes). At La Banchina you can bath in the canals or enjoy a great view of Copenhagen. About 8 minutes walk from the house.

Lille Backery (just next to La Banchina) is more like a café with excellent bread. It is one of the locals' favorite spots. Enjoy a plate outside the backery in the sun. Note that it only serves filtered coffee.

We have to mention Noma, the greatest restaurant in the world (literally). But either you already have a reservation, or you are not going to have one with months of waiting time. If you are one of the lucky few, all we have to say is "enjoy!"

Outdoor Copenhagen Street Food Market, +25 shops, really good quality food from all over the world. Copenhageners travel to Reffen from the whole city. A must-try during the summer. Also excellent with kids.

Øens have is one of my favorite spots. They serve new nordic sharing dishes made from vegetables they grow themselves, and serve freshly caught fish from the grill. It is rather pricey, but wonderful. Be aware that they are closed on some weekendays (normally MON-WED), so make sure to check that out before you go.

Sightseeing
Don't miss the lovely stroll at the nearby harbour just 10 minutes away. Close to the restaurant, you find a nice play ground for younger kids and a bouncy castle (the latter is currently closed for maintenance though). Enjoy the meal of the day is the cheap price of 89 kr.

Copenhill is a 15 minutes walk away and worth a visit. The top offers a great view of the city, and you also find the world's highest climbing wall (85 meters). You can buy coffee, beer, pancakes, ice cream and toasts at the top. Take the elevator or the stairs if you are up for the challenge.
