A Spectacular Green Sand Beach located out of South Point. Park and then Pay the guys with the 4wd trucks to drive you there and back. The drive is a blast and the to walk it is quite a workout. Worth every penny for the drive back and forth.

One of the coolest opportunities to walk in an actual lava tube for as long as you feel adventurous. Head on down through the "Skylight" and head right. When you get to what seems like the end, look down on the right hand side and crawl through the opening. You will be amazed at what follows.

Located right outside the neighborhood on Hwy11, this is a convenient spot to pick up snacks, drinks and forgotten necessities without having to go into Hilo or Keaau. They do close early at 6pm.
They have most anything you could need in a pinch as well as a lunch counter that is open till 2pm. The lunch counter offers burgers, hotdogs, breakfast and local kine food. They also sell their own t-shirt with some cool artwork!
