Totnes has a fantastic high street full of artisan shops. There is definitely something for everyone here. Park in one of the advertised car parks, they are not expensive and can be paid using the Ringo App.

This is a great day out and also has some lovely Coastal Walks. You can book a steam train from Staverton to Dartmouth which is great fun for all the family.

Another fantastic pub, right on the river. The food is excellent as is the wine selection. You can walk to this pub from the cottage by walking to Ashprinton on the path from Totnes. This leaves Totnes by the Steam Packet Inn. At Ashprington you can follow Google Maps to the pub.

The Maltsters Arms
Another fantastic pub, right on the river. The food is excellent as is the wine selection. You can walk to this pub from the cottage by walking to Ashprinton on the path from Totnes. This leaves Totnes by the Steam Packet Inn. At Ashprington you can follow Google Maps to the pub.
