Great draft beer selection, some surprisingly delightful cocktails, and a tasty food selection (with vegetarian options including Beyond Burgers, veggie "tachos," super yummy pretzels and more). Excellent patio overlooking the mountains. Yee haw!!

Large Vons grocery store, conveniently located at the corner of Hwy. 41 and Hwy. 49. This place can get a bit crowded, but they have a great selection and you can get some decent deals if you use the coupons on their app.

Another grocery store in town -- usually less crowded than Vons. Prices here vary depending on the product -- overall, probably a tad more expensive than Vons and definitely more expensive than Grocery Outlet but an easy in and out shopping experience.

If you’re traveling North on Highway 41 from Fresno/Coarsegold to the Sierra Snuggie, you’ll see a Dollar General. Stop, turn right and follow the signs for “Indian Tacos”. You won’t regret it. You’ll arrive at a lovely little food haven. The tacos are a great combination of whatever you select (vegetarian options are available) served over Indian fry bread. The people that will serve you this treat are so welcoming. They also sell jellies, jams, jewelry and other items that may pique your interest.

You could spend a lifetime exploring the majesty of this land, but if you only have a day or two, be sure to check out Tunnel View, Bridalveil Falls, and the upper and lower Yosemite Falls. The views are truly breathtaking and a photographer's dream. I never tire of taking photos of this place yet somehow a photo can never do it justice -- you really must see these sights in person. One visit to the park will make you want to return, again and again (and I hope you do)!
Angle Falls is an off the beaten path gem tucked away in the mountains! It's about 3 miles and 6 minutes down Bass Lake Road from the Sierra Snuggie. If you head down Dorstan towards Bass Lake Rd., turn left and it's exactly 3.5 miles on your left-hand side. There is one main turnoff and one turnoff open only during summer months. The summer turnoff will take you down a gravel road where there is parking available. Don't miss this local treasure!
