The new street food set up here is very popular, featuring local fresh seafood caught by Newquay fishermen - yes the ones in Episode 1 of the BBC documentary "Cornwall- this fishing life". In the winter this harbour is a popular place for cold water swimming, as it is sheltered from wind and large waves.

In the winter this harbour is a popular place for cold water swimming, as it is sheltered from wind and large waves.
Explore a different beach at Holywell Bay, used in Poldark, James Bond film Die Another Day and filming here in spring 2021 on the Game of Thrones Prequel series. National Trust Car Park is free to members.

Best yoga studio in the West (in my opinion) - welcoming visitors to live classes in the studio on Pentire Avenue and on the grass on the esplanade overlooking the sea about 3-4 minutes walk from surf view. Also known for the immersive silent disco beach yoga sessions- a must do for any yoga fans.
