A real surfing Mecca, this is the beach to head to to rent your boards and get in the surf! Very popular with locals and tourists alike, the coastline and beach are a stunning local attraction! Food available on the beach varies from pasties and fish and chips- to more refined lunches and dinners at the Waterfront restaurant. The coastal footpath walk between Polzeath and Daymar bay is well worth a stroll! Reached from your door within 15 minutes.

An absolute food Mecca! Michelin star chef Rick Stein has his seafood restaurant for fine dining- an excellent option for special occasions! He also serves up delicious fish and chips from a small outlet, as well as owning a delightful cafe in the town. Well worth a visit to stroll up to the war memorial, or potter about the town for some retail therapy. Padstow can be reached by water ferry from Rock, and this is always a lovely trip when the weather is fair!

Dog friendly and a firm personal favourite! The food is always on point- serving locally produced food from steak and chips to mussels and oysters! Great selection of local ales and gin behind the bar, and ooddles of country pub charm to boot! A must visit, but book to avoid disappointment! 15 minutes in the car to this delightful spot.
Simple seafood at its best! The owner has his own fishing boat, and braves the local waters daily for his catch. His wife then prepares the fish and shell fish brought back simply, to serve up to very willing customers!

2 minutes down the road! A great farm shop for all your holiday essentials, selling much of their own produce! The cafe is great, serving good hearty home cooked food! This is a must for lunch with children in tow, and they have a large sandpit, play park and animals to see! Dog friendly
