Without doubt the best food in the county!!!! If you don’t mind paying a little bit more for something a little bit special - Oli the chef who used to run the Langford at Fivehead is an exquisite and talented chef and his wife Rebecca will warmly welcome you. They are new to the pub so still in the throws of doing it up but it is definitely worth a visit for a special occasion but you will need to book!!!

Our local village where you can walk along the River Parrett, stop at the cafe on the river, there’s a great local bakery and butchers and a fish van in the car park on Friday and the Saturday Vintage market is great fun!!!!
There are some great little independent shops as well as one stop and Tesco’s and a pharmacy for all essentials!

Come to find nesting herons and little egrets between March and June, while nuthatches and woodpeckers feed at the car park bird feeders in winter.
