One of the largest city parks in the world, Kings Park is beautiful year round with great views of the city and river from the war memorial.
The botanic gardens give a great feel for WA's native vegetation in an accessible and beautifully laid out walking tour.

This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful city beaches in the world. A safe, relaxed vibe well served by local bars, cafes and restaurants, the Cottesloe beach scene is what Perth is all about for me. It is easy to pass countless hours here!
Best in the morning before the sea breeze picks up in the summer months but it is good year round for a stroll next to the ocean.
