If you dare to eat spicy balinese food then the ayam betutu is an absolute must try. This traditional chicken dish cooked with a certain spice mixture and coconut oil is one of my favorite dish. Warung Enak is the place to try it and it will cost you only 1 usd (I recommend to take the jumbo package for 1.6 USD).

Not a very fancy place (and it's quite smokey, I would recommend to take away or order through GoJek) but this legendary restaurant that serves the most delicious balinese pork (babi) skewers (sate) in the island is an absolute must try!

An incredible experience at this steakhouse. You'll find a selection of some of the best meats from all around the world. Wagyu 9+. Pricey, very pricey ... and you'll need to book 3 months in advance or to try your luck on the waiting list.

If you'd like to eat fish and seafood (by the weight) seated directly in the beach.
Very touristic though, I strongly recommend to go there either for lunch (you'll have the place almost only for yourself), or before 5.30pm to avoid the crowd and to enjoy the sunset at a nice table in front of the ocean.
After 6 pm, I wouldn't recommend to go there : the restaurant and the beach will be fully crowded and incredibly smokey..

The "Soleil" restaurant used to serve the best brunch in Bali every sunday from 11am to 3pm. In my opinion m, the quality went down recently and in the meantime prices went up.
