We are in the Bayou St John neighborhood, named after this Bayou. Take a walk down and sit on the banks and watch the sunset. There is a lovely pedestrian bridge that has nice views.

The more casual counter service sister restaurant to Cochon, Cochon Butcher has fantastic sandwiches and homemade boudin. They can also vacuum pack sausage for the trip home.

To blend, dress up (no shorts!!) as New Orleanians do when they go. It is the place locals go for celebrations and special occasions. Reservations a must. They will also give you a tour of the kitchen if you ask.

Recently opened natural wine bar. Often have pop up food. Kind of hard to find - use GPS and expect to make wrong turns (it's tucked under the Crescent City Bridge on ramp) but worth it!
