One of the only authentic sushi restaurants in Long Beach. I believe they source their fish directly from Japan.
Anything off their omakase menu is a must have, especially the Santa Barbara uni. Their rolls and izakaya menu items are great as well.

Great place to start your trip. A view of the Long Beach marina, open space, good energy, and good beer. Food is decent enough if you're hungry. It's also family friendly.
