Head to Boulder for this day hike with beautiful rock formations. Fairly steep, but the views are so rewarding. Can get pretty busy on the weekends, so I recommend going during the week if you can.

Beautiful park and lovely trail for a day hike in Boulder. Not as steep as Sanitas, this one is more family-friendly and still has stunning views.

$ My favorite hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Parking is a little awkward, but it's worth it for the food. They are famous for their burritos but I have a soft spot for their carnitas.

Check out the darling downtown area, and make sure you visit some of the local boutiques. During the holidays, they have the most magical downtown winter wonderland, complete with ice skating rink.
