Lincoln Center offers ballet, opera, theater, film, concerts and a library, all in a complex of several buildings, with a lovely plaza and outdoor events in the center of them.

Food Scene
Bella Luna has consistently good Italian food at reasonable prices and is only one block from ours, but its current (new) space is smaller than its former space and can be noisy at times. Very early and relatively later in the evenings are less noisy. In good weather, there's outdoor seating as well.

Zabar's is an iconic family-owned Upper West Side delicatessen and cheese emporium with a large selection of Zabar-prepared foods and desserts. It's known for its nova scotia salmon and sable, its cream cheese and chives, its humus and its breads, including the classic New York bagel, and coffees.
