This is a great local brewery, just 4 miles away in North Canaan. They have trivia nights, live music, and plenty of food trucks...and of course, great beer.

Head to Millerton, NY (20 min away), rent some bikes, take a leisurely ride on the converted rail trail, then stop back in town for a delicious lunch at any number of gourmet eateries (Irving Farms, Harney Tea House, or Oakhurst Diner). Browse the boutiques or do a tea sampling at Harney Teas. If you go on a Saturday morning, you can catch the farmers’ market which is loaded with great food, music, and lots of local products.

Jimminy Peak is a little over an hour away but worth the drive. In winter, their ski slopes are one of the best. In summer, their aerial adventure park is a blast. Hook into your harness and enjoy a little exercise while navigating the course through the tree tops.
