The MAS museum is one of the youngest museums of Antwerp. It is dedicated to ‘de Schelde’, the river of the city. A must visit not only for the beautiful exhibitions but the roof terrace has a magnificent view on the city and the harbour.
This museum boosts also a fine dining restaurant (3* michelin !) at the top floor and a very nice brasserie on the ground floor.
If you do not wish to visit the art exhibitions, just go to the top terrace for the amazing view on the city.

This botanical garden is right in the shopping area and although it is small, it is a beautiful place to rest or to get inspired by the beautiful flowers and trees!

Walk from right to leftbank in a tunnel under the river Schelde. The entrance building is an art deco gem and the views of Antwerp from left bank are worth the walk!

A visit here is not only recommended for kids because of the animals. The zoo of Antwerp is a true botanical gem with beautiful trees and plants that have been growing here for decades. The art deco buildings are also beautiful. Always a good idea to visit, even for a walk in the early evening when the crowds are gone. One of my favorite places in Antwerp.
