Although the place is rather small : here you can get local food like cheese, salami, pesto, jam,noodles, espresso, lemonade... for take away and you can also sit down and have a delicious organic meal or enjoy a coffee.

Another place to drive to if you want to have a look at the neighour island Sotra and its more rough landscape. Urtemakeriet is 45 min drive from here and they have homemade bread, pestos and jam, you can sit outside, they also have a small beach.

This trail leads to the remains of an old pinewood...called "the queen" (dronningen) which in itself is little spectacular but if you are lucky you might be able to see eagles in this area.
