If you want to avoid the city of Hereford, Ledbury is the next biggest place from the apartment in the opposite direction. A high street of independent shops, black and white buildings and historic pubs. Lovely for a relaxed shopping experience. You won't find any of the big names here. Except Boots!

Ross-on-Wye
Another lovely local town of independent shops.
A great day out even with covid restrictions. You can see some amazing animals and learn all about them. On top of that, if you like rollercoasters and the like there's a theme park too.

Fancy seeing something a bit special, then visit puzzlewood. Used in many films such as Star Wars the forest has an atmosphere like no other. walk around, get lost and enjoy this natural beauty.

Another beautiful town worth a visit with its black and white buildings and castle. The castle holds many events during the year from medieval gatherings to food and drink extravaganzas. On top of all that, the town market is very special, but check which days it's on.

Perton is a hamlet within Stoke Edith. A short walk from the apartment brings you into Stoke Edith with is church and beautiful houses. Stoke Edith House was burnt down many many years ago, but definitely had a history worth reading about.

Транспорт
Getting into Hereford
From the apartment you can drive into Hereford or get the bus at the end of the road. Through covid the bus is only running every 2 hours and there is no late buses. Check timetables.
You could get a taxi, but being out the city you're looking at £25+ each way and more after midnight.
