Formerly the Sears Tower, Willis is the tallest building in the region. You can stand in a long line and eventually get to the Skydeck where you would have paid a decent amount of money for a view, but we highly recommend visiting the Hancock building instead.

The "other" tall building in Chicago, this is the one you should visit. Go to the Signature Lounge on the 96th floor, have some drinks, and enjoy the view while being happy that you didn't pay all the extra money to visit the Willis Tower. What's even better is that any skyline photo you take from here will include the iconic Willis tower, something that is impossible had you gone to the Skydeck at Willis.

"The Bean," as it is lovingly referred to, is stunning to see up close. You can visit this sight while heading towards the Art Institute. If you visit during the winter, pop down to the ice rink for skating!

Good mixture of different bars in a close neighborhood. We recommend starting at Town Hall Pub for a "party pack" of jello shots, vodka infused gummy bears, and spiked pudding cups. Then move on to one of the more larger "happening" spots nearby. If you plan to dance, Scarlet is highly recommended for its high energy and good mix of tunes. Just get there before midnight to avoid the cover charge.

The Brown lines runs all day and most of the night, only stopping for a few hours starting around 1:30am. The Purple Line is an express route that only runs during rush hour on weekdays, and is the quickest way to get to Evanston and Northwestern University.
