One of my fav's for an intimate dinner. Chef Nathaniel won an episode of Chopped, and with good reason! He does amazing things with grits, and his menu is kind of refined southern comfort food. Love this place!

Boiled and fried, they also have a lot of fresh seared and raw fish. I love this place. My favorite is the Gouda Monster salad loaded with fried oysters, bacon, and of course aged Gouda.

That's the gist of it. If you love steak, you will love Charlies.

Located in New Orleans’ Audubon Park, so-called The Tree of Life (officially the Étienne de Boray Oak) is not only one of the city’s premier tree-climbing spots, it’s also a surprisingly great spot for giraffe watching.

Or enjoy the sights and sounds of cultural events from the serenity of the bayou. Total route distance is about 8 easy miles round trip, perfect for beginners and experts.
