This is Phoenix's most iconic mountain! Some may find the trailheads challenging - but the views are phenomenal. This trailhead does get busy so be prepared. Always bring plenty of water and a mobile phone device when hiking. Please remember to never stray from the trails.

This is one of my favorite State parks in Arizona. It makes for the perfect day trip and the hike is fairly moderate. Payson is a quaint town with charming restaurants and shops. The drive is one of my favorite parts, seeing the transition from the Sonoran Desert to Pine Trees is truly unique to Arizona!
