5 min drive from our place! Great scenery! Great spot for some great pictures so close to town. You can spend a few minutes or a few hours depending on the amount of time you may have. There are plenty of trials to walk. Just follow the river and it will take you as far as you’ll let it take you.

30 min drive from our place. Great hiking and mountain biking. Visit Yukonhiking.ca for details on various hikes in the Carcross area. Suggestions: Caribou & Nares Mountain. It’s a fun town to visit. Make sure to check out the coffee shop and the Bistro. If the sun is out, you’ll want to stop and spend some time at the beach. It is located just in town.

10 minute drive from our place. It is just before you get downtown along the Yukon River. You won’t miss it! It’s a great spot to park you car and walk along the Millenium Trail. There is a 5km loop that brings your right back to the parking lot. You can leave your car there and walk downtown along the river. Avoid the traffic and the headache of parking downtown. It’s definitely the full experience and makes you see things you would have otherwise missed.

The MacBride Museum was recently renovated. It provides plenty of information about Yukon’s history (i.e. First Nations, Gold Rush, Construction of the Alaska Highway). Very informative and interesting.
