A great place to spend the whole day at. The Zoo is split in dfferent thematic islands, such as Asia, Amerika, Afrika. Pavilions are beautifully decorated with statues and mosaics in Art Nouveau style. Animals are well kept.
One can have a closer look by going in the halls with birds (mostly parrots), bats or butterflies. Also there is a contact zoo with goats.
At appointed time you can see the seals show or experience the real tropical rain.
