Neighbourhoods

Whilst retaining its traditional seaside holiday resort charm, Margate is also now a vibrant up and coming place with amazing art galleries, sandy beaches and retro cafes, bars and shops nestled in the cobbled streets of the old town. As confirmed by the famous artist JMW Turner, “the skies over Thanet are the loveliest in all Europe”. Margate is a ten minute drive from our property or twenty minutes direct link on the train.

Broadstairs is a beautiful, traditional sea-side resort. With sandy beaches and cobbled streets, the home of Charles Dickens is a must visit. It is a twenty minute drive from our property or a short train ride away. The beach has children rides, restaurants and cafes. We highly recommend a visit to Morelli's Ice Cream parlour. Its one of our favourites with our children.
