In addition to the beautiful scenery and the historical surroundings, there is a lovely downstairs bar here with a very good selection of beers. They also do good lunches. You can sit outside or in. Recommended!

You can walk from here across the Gaer Hill Fort (day walk), or drive.

Abergavenny is about a 15-20 minute drive from us and is a lovely market town. Tuesdays is market day and you have a good selection of shops and supermarkets to choose from, as well as cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is also a castle and museum and St Mary's Church is very nice too.

Abergavenny is about a 15-20 minute drive from us and is a lovely market town. Tuesdays is market day and you have a good selection of shops and supermarkets to choose from, as well as cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is also a castle and museum and St Mary's Church is very nice too.
Crickhowell is about a 1/2 hr drive from us along the back lanes. It is a lovely town and has some interesting shops and good places to eat. You can park in the main carpark and walk down to the river.
