This is a great bar restaurant that is a favorite with mostly locals. There are a few sports screens, great food and a selection of local craft brews as well as mixed drinks. This is a family friendly place with outdoor volleyball court and places for the kids to access the creek.

Touristy, but for a reason. Be sure to check out the All Soul’s Cathedral. Designed by Morris. The main architect of the Biltmore Estate. Also very close to Biltmore Estate. Lots of local history etc.

Iconic and scenic road with no commercial development. In early fall, drive north to see early leaf changes. In late fall drive south. :-). 5 minutes from your condo. (Its really practically in the back yard but you have to drive around to the road entrance. But, you can hike the parkway of bike it from the house.
