The new glass bridge to the castle makes the views even better (and the walk a lot easier!). A must visit for everyone interested interested in the mythical King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The views are amazing, don’t forget tickets need to be pre-booked during busy periods.

A favourite place to visit; a busy fish village and tourist destination with interesting craft shops, cafes and restaurants. At low tide there are rock pools and a long beach to explore. Fish & chips on the beach listening to The Fishermen's Friends is an absolute treat! If you don’t fancy the challenging walk to Port Issac it’s a short drive, follow the signs to Port Gaverne and then up the hill to the carpark on the right. From there it’s only a 5 minute walk down into the village. The village is steep, narrow and winding, few people drive into it twice.

A picturesque harbour and busy village full of art, crafts, cafes and restaurants. Its fun to arrive via the ferry from Rock or on a bike from wadebridge. Padstow (or Padstein as some people call it) is lovely with plenty of good places to eat and drink, and excellent fresh fish. Rick Stein's patisserie has lovely macaroons.

On wet days it is always worth checking the weather in Looe or Polperro, although only an hours drive away the weather on the south coast can be completely different. When it’s cagoules and wellies on the north coast it can be shorts and flipflops on the south coast!
