Eat at EAT restaurant at Hout Bay Manor. Sit inside or in the beautiful courtyard. Amazing Thai /Asian cuisine (Chef and assistants from the famous Kitima). About 3 other menus as well. Carrot cake also excellent! 20kms from our house - go via Camps Bay for a scenic route!

Part of the Peter Tempelhoff chain.... Japanese cafe style - deeeelicious ramen bowls with freshly made noodles. V good wine and imported japanese beers. No bookings. No cash. Take an uber as parking too difficult. But this restaurant totally worth it :) Sit outside in green garden on a hot summers day. Unique !

Top rated Glen beach is also a must for beach lovers. A large sandy beach with some boulders and gorgeous views over Camps bay. Just before the busier actual Camps bay beach...have fun !

Part of the Cape Town Big 6 - a visit to the top of our iconic Table Mountain (a national park and world heritage site) simply cant be missed.
Visit tablemountain.net for open and close times, tickets and weather warnings. One can also hike up the mountain and cableway down....
This cableway has been operating since 1929 !

A stunning wine estate not far away in Constantia (closer than Stellenbosch etc). Enjoy a cheese and charcuterie platter with some Constantia Glen wine whilst overlooking the vineyards. The best.
