Uber and Taxis are safe. But always agree the price first before stepping inside the car. Don’t flush anything expensive either cloths or jewelry. Be bias, and try to speak Spanish if you can, so you don’t bring much attention to others. I mean just be you and humble and you should be okay around the city.
