The BoardWalk is just a quick walk West on the beach. There are several wonderful restaurants, shopping, live music, fireworks on Wednesdays in season, and activities every weekend to enjoy.
If you want a beautiful, scenic drive, follow 30A along the Florida Coast. There are shops along the way and beaches to stop and take in the breathtaking view.

Plenty to do here for the entire day. Access is only by boat or watercraft and some activities (floating obstacle course, food, etc) have a charge. This is a seasonal activity occurring between March and October.

It is best to have a car for driving in the area.
Unless you will be spending most of your time at the beach or pool areas lounging and relaxing, it is best to have a car for traveling around the area. There are some restaurants and bars within walking distance, however, your options are more limited. Local delivery services are available as well.

Beach towels are not provided, so please bring a set for your family.

Beach Chairs and Beach Service
Your condo has beach chairs available for guest use equipped with a storage bag and a cooler bag. Please be courteous and bring all beach items back from the beach for the next guest to enjoy. If you prefer, there is also beach service available at the end of the beach boardwalk. The company that will set up beach service in our area is LaDolce Vita, www.ldvbeach.com . To rent, go to their cabana on the beach or go to their website, click-Rentals-Beach Chairs and Umbrellas-Okaloosa Island-Destin West Beach and Bay Resort.

Pool Bands
Pool/Beach bands are required for everyone 7 years and older. A $20 fee will be charged for any missing bands. Broken bands can be replaced at the managers office on the ground floor.
