Not only does Newton Johnson make amazing wines, their fine dining food is also unparalleled. This wine farm is situated in the infamous Hemel-and-Aarde wine route outside Hermanus. On a clear day, the valley with the ocean in the background paints a picture that the best artists in the world can only dream of.

Gabrielskloof is approximately 30 minutes drive from Hermanus, but it is totally worth it. They make modern food with a traditional South African twist at great value for money. Not only that - their wine and champagne is magnificent at very affordable prices. A must visit if you have time to travel a bit outside of Hermanus.

Feel the sea breeze nibbling on your hair while enjoying the catch of the day or any of the amazing fish dishes on the menu. This little restaurant never disappoints - their quality and service is consistently excellent.
Kleinmond is approximately 30 minutes drive from Hermanus, but well worth it! Before or after your meal, take some time to browse all the little shops in the harbour - you will find some real gems!
