This is a great place for people who love food. You can by small dishes on the go or sit down in a cozy restaurant. Mathallen also has the longest bar in Oslo. The place and area around shows a different side of Oslo(in a good way) and is really worth a visit.

A well known ski jump stadium and museum. You get a spectacular view over Oslo from this spot. It is easy to get to this destination by sub way or car. This is a must for most tourists in Oslo.

This a shopping street in the city center. It starts next to the central station and ends up next to the Norwegian Castle. This is an expensive area, but worth a visit. You are able to take a picnic in the park of the Norwegian castle and go further up to Majorstuen, along Bogstadveien (if you still have money left on your trip ). I can recommand the restaurants Olivia, Lorris or Delicatessen in this area. The food is good and not too pricy.

You are able to take a picnic in the park of the Norwegian castle and go further up to Majorstuen, along Bogstadveien (if you still have money left on your trip ). I can recommand the restaurants Olivia, Lorris or Delicatessen in this area. The food is good and not too pricy.

One of the beautiful islands in Oslo fjord. You have to take a ferry for 5 min to get to the island. The Island is really nice and perfect for swimming, a little walk and a picnic.. The ferry goes from the docs not far away from the Opera house every 15/30 min.
