Gaustatoppen towers above it's surroundings in Telemark and offers great hikes (there are several interesting ways up - not just the tourist route) as well as good ski touring in the winter (check avy and snow conditions!). Roundtrip up the main trail is about 10 km and 700 vertical meters.
