Take a boat trip out on the lake, to the Maori rock carvings iconic to Lake Taupo. These boats are also recommended if you are wanting to get married! Great place for a wedding!

Within walking distance from Gold on Gillies airbnb, this is a great place to chill out, have a pizza (amazing), a few drinks, listen to live music on Sunday afternoons and other advertised music jams.... Right on the lake!

The BEST Bungy jump in NZ. Jump down over the great Mighty Waikato River. Stunning views, crystal clear water below. You can even be "dipped" in the river.

Do a Skydive with Taupo's BEST! I have done a 15000ft jump and it was AMAZING. Views are spectacular across the lake and mountains all the way to Mt Taranaki on a fine day.
A must do in Taupo!

Just beautiful.. this parasail on the Great Lake Taupo is spectacular! Pristine crystal clear water, views of the mountains (a bit of snow even in the summer). This activity is for everyone! I've done it, and loved it!
