One of my favorite restaurants, and it's locally owned! Enjoy tapas - as good as I had in Spain, no joke - and great cocktails! Outdoor seating available both on the sidewalk and on a covered patio.

Great cajun-inspired food. Best known for their pasta and pizzas, and great for quick take-out. Also great sandwiches.

If you like bourbon, this is your spot. Great bourbon list and cocktails, and the food is great. Kinda feels like a honky tonk. Great patio for nice weather. They also have a great weekend brunch - perfect for hangovers :)

NOT a distillery but a great experience and tour of one of the original sites of Louisville's historic distilleries. Tastings at the end of the tour, and a great way to learn about Louisville's bourbon history!

Low-key and casual - not a fancy cocktail bar. Beers and basic drinks. Live music every night! On weekends there are typically two - one inside in the main bar, one outside on the patio. Great place to mingle.

A townie bar with cheap drinks, pool tables, skee ball, and great people-watching. Very low-key and casual. They also serve food late, and their wings are awesome.

Located on the University of Louisville's campus, this is a great stop on a rainy day, or if you want to also walk around gorgeous Old Louisville which is adjacent to campus.
